Metal meet I’ve thought about a cars and coffee thi NV a once all this blows over. Just cause that’s what I’m into. May work there but would have to haul my machine and everything. Which could be a pain.
Here are some thoughts on this idea that maybe people could have insight on.
Unless you’re close to a shop that sells equipment, and could get the allow them to be “tested” so there are enough machines for everyone. I’m a one man shop with enough room and machines for just that lol.
At the metal meets there is usually a few days before, and a few days after. Shops that come and do seminars for money. More hands on, more detailed than just everyone helping everyone. Usually focuses on one thing. For this you could have someone who does restoration work only before, then after someone who does more custom work. A shop that really excels in something.
Most food is by donation, meaning people who come donate money and the hosts grill, have pop and chips, etc. (this is by the meets I have been too) lodging on the individual.
I don’t think this idea is out of question, and
@Fred Mattson May have more input in this as he’s done similar before. Maybe I’m over thinking it.
