    Sounds like something is binding, or your upper tension is too loose. If the upper tension is too loose, it can cause the thread to gather under the feed dog and wrap around the hook and case assembly causing the thread to break. Did it break the thread before you reduced tension on the topside????

    Just finished trimming a pontoon boat for a customer. They wanted it to be identical to what came factory. This was quite labor intensive due to the foam being in such bad shape. The vinyl was so faded and was so "chalky" that it was hard finding the correct color. This is before and after.
