I think they are sewn as a pocket 1st (3 sides) then inserted and hand sewn on the hinge end . you can get thread from segal , martrim , boyriven , William marstons , woolies , AS trim or MBS ………… ive recently done 3 Esprits

I found 4psi for the pot and 35psi for the gun close enough , does that sound about right ??

i dont know how you guys can pay what you do for space pens !!! I went to NASA a few months ago and they are even more expensive in there shop than ebay !! !! I get mine from china and pay £7.00 for 30

if there are standards I have to meet to be able to work on air bags where can I get the rules and regs ??
as far as me being a small shop im sure that the money I would have to spend out to meet all these standards are not cost effective but if ive got no one official to speak to me how could I ever make this happen anyway ??

i have waisted 2 days now trying to get a straight answer and from what I know now keith DONT DO IT !!! . ive already tried to get a solicitor involved who is a friend and he wont touch it with a barge pole !!!! without typing all the details the long and the short of it is as everyone else has already said …………………. a simple £70 repair could land you with massive fine or worse end up behind bars !!!

I have been going for 22 years now and bought air bag thread many years ago and now need more .
so I rang my suppliers (6 of them ) and none of them sell it any more !! I also rang a supplier that just sells thread in the uk and they wont sell to me as they will now only supply the big main dealer franchises !!!! so it looks like I will have to now turn away half of my work load as I can not re trim or repair interiors that contain air bags anymore !!!

is this the same for everybody else in the uk ? and elsewhere ??

done many caddys before and always do it the proper way but this guy doesn't want to spend that kind of money so I just said look for kits if your fancy a go yourself , so I just thought id ask here on his behalf

i did find them before but have found other suppliers a bit cheaper than them ….. getting 2 more quotes at the moment to try and keep costs down

most of the specific bike vinyls that MAH sell has a black backing so no white edges

also as you can see from the iron maiden one I have flipped the image on pc before printing then just a light spray glue on back to stitch from behind for crisp lines

yup I always do it over size first so you can lay the seat template on the finished flames so it can be moved around to make sure the flames all sit where you planed them too

im fitting a new vinyl top on a 30ft limo on my own at the moment if you wanna pop round :joke:
