    Hey all,

Does anyone have a better solution for the heavy duty staples that hold door panel window felt on and things like that? Right now, I carefully pry out the old staples and reuse them. I'm sure there is a better way!

I buy new staples and hand drill the tiny holes (1/16th i believe), insert the staple and bend around.

    Small shallow black pop rivets.

I use pop rivets too. Make sure the rod snaps flush. If not I grind them a bit.

I use rivets also .... steel or aluminum.... paint the heads black first for a cleaner look

U-POL PRODUCT TIGER SEAL NOT UV PROTECTIVE

Just thought I would help out on that tiger seal data sheet out of curiosity. I worry about the lack of UV protection especially in the whiskers area where it is black generally.

usually we break those stupidly strong staples off grind them down and then drill small holes and paint the flat head screws black or rivet like everyone else is saying

it would be cool to have a line on a factory machine that stapled those up initially but ...yeah pipe dream ;) have a great Friday every one and don't forget to check out our GloTrim OEM fiber optic welts at GloTrim

I think we may have been the only auto upholstery company - Seville Auto Trim from WI, that exhibited at SEMA 2019. We make sure to represent the whole hog ring/ trimmers community very well and classy :)
God bless you all and LETS GO 2020

Thanks for the advice everyone! I was worried about using rivets in case the backs might interfere but seems like it works!
