Hi again!
On this panel, I glued the 1/2" foam to the vinyl, sewed the pleats, and all was great.
Even after sewing the two panels together, it looked great, but after fitting cover over seat, a few of the panels look like the foam wrinkled. I tried steaming, no luck.
Ideas?
Another seat similar to this one had no problems.
Do your plates first then sore around the edges is your putting together any project steam it that should take out any wrinkles if not when you're done you can also what a towel and iron it from the top be careful
HI I did a couple of things: removed cover then scored the foam, that took care of most of it, then I steamed it and worked (rubbed) the material, and that took care of the rest of it.
The problem wasn't the glue, which I use sparingly, but that I folded the material when I was doing the pleats. On the subsequent ones, I was careful not to fold the portion that already had pleats, and they turned out beautifully.
