Back way off of tension on thread and bobbin. Make sure you're using the right needle size for the thread. Eliminate extra threading plates on your machine so it slides through easier. You still have to go slower, at least on my Juki you do.
Ditto on what Jack said. Even with doing all of the above,
it will still be hard. You are at the extreme end of a regular sewing machines limitations and it's letting you know lol.
If you can find 210 size thread, it will be easier but I know it's hard to find suppliers.
Every time I tell a sewing machine tech that run 270 through a 206 consew, they say " whaaaat? That's totally not designed for that thread." Um ya I know, but it will do it, just slowly is all.
It's not just you.
You can use 69 or 92 for bobbin thread too but still slow.
Oh yeah my tension is hahaha undone on the top. I have plenty of 207, jus doesn't give you that pop 277 does. I have right size needles and even adjusted my hook out so there's proper spacing between scarf of the needle and hook as it loops the thread. It just doesn't want to allow speed lol.
