Sorry if this has been discussed in the past. I’ve seen chechaflo make notchers in his video, but I don’t have any plier like that or others I don’t use. I keep my tool selection small and only what I use. Meaning I don’t buy it if I don’t need it and not junk I’m willing to cut apart. I have been following other shops in social media and notice their notchers and how nice and what I can only imagine is a lot faster and easier than scissors. Does anyone recommend a brand? I searched google and found several cheap on on amazon. They say for fabric or paper patterns. No reviews mention anything about leather or vinyl. I use vinyl 99% of the time. Hate to buy one even cheap if they won’t work. I’ve even heard of ear notchers from the farm industry working too. Thanks in advance

I just use pigs ear notchers, the springs on them do break but you can still use them.Won't work well on fabrics but work well on leather and vinyl. Also useful for notching material when going around corners, piping etc.Mine get used pretty much every day.
