if you dont have the old headliner for the type 2 id just buy a new replacement one which will be more cost effective from west coast metric or vw heritage , as for the 103e pop i have template for that and sell kits

ive been trading for 27 years and over that period ive employed 9 different people that all have experience !!!!!!!!!!! not many lasted long , one guy had more years under his belt , more tools than me and he lasted 3 weeks !!!!!!!! his work was shocking . not that many young guys getting in to but at least in the states you are doing these custom courses but nothing in the uk like that so it will only be self taught guys n gals

id quite happily shut my shop in uk to jump the pond for that kind of money

just done a 55 chevy 3100 that was imported from usa to uk and on a hiden bit of the seat cover there was a message written saying " hi england" and then an email address !!!!! so do i email them ???

we are now in our 3rd lockdown in the UK and im even more busier now than i was in march !!!!!!!!!!! im booking cars in as far as February 2022 ............................ yes 2022 not a typo error ...and a few other uk trimmers i speak to are all in the same position . as long as i can get supplies i can lock my door for a year
