  • Mercedes Seat Trim Cloth? Pillar Cloth?
    Hello Spencer,

what Mercedes-Benz models and years are you referring to?
    Where are you based?
  • Looking For Position Overseas
    Hello Michael,
thank you very much for your post and for sharing your upholstery experience with the forum.
Starting a new job outside of the USA is one thing. Starting a new life outside of your known environment is quite another.
Maybe you should give a few more information about where you'd like to go: we're at the other end of the world - Australia. Would that be a consideration? Or would closer to 'home' be your goal?
Although you don't want to disclose your reasons for moving outside the US (which is absolutely fine), you need to be frank about those reasons (politics? money? more quality time with your family? ...)
We've been through this process and the grass is not always greener on the other side, but other things might improve.
Happy to help if you have any further questions.
    Regards,
    Carmen from M&C Vehicle Trimming
  • Educate me on presser feet
    Hello Dan,
not sure if you've received an answer to your question, yet...
With Singer feet, the S30 etc. indicates a Piping foot / Kederfuss. On each foot should be a further number e.g. 1/8 or 5/32 which indicates the size of the piping/foot (3mm or 4mm etc on my side of the world...). Please don't hesitate to ask if you need further information.
  • Porsche 911 SC Cork carpet and vinyl
    Hello Manfred,
    sorry for the late reply.
Have you tried 'GAHH Automotive' or 'Veteran Company' in the US?
Both have a good selection on Porsche materials (vinyl and carpet also available per metre / yard).

    Good luck
  • Mercedes E60 AMG interior material
    Hello Rusty,
yes, I'm familiar with that Mercedes-Benz insert leather. I don't know the exact name but it was a limited edition of the Mercedes-Benz interior 'designo'-range. It came in different colours (grey, green etc.). Can't imagine that it's still available (or wanted - no one was keen on my stocked hides, yet...). But you could easily dye some...
  • Hello!
    Hello Serge,

    welcome back!
I know that the company 'Gore' sells 'Tenara'-thread in different colours including transparent.
The company is based in Germany (so very close to you ;-) and the website is: www.gore.de . Maybe contact them and ask for a sample.

All the best and 'viel Glueck'!
