Tell us about yourself I have just started in the automotive upholstery business. Its a big change of direction for me, and one that I'm taking very seriously. A lot of people have said I won't be able to do it, and I aim to prove the doubters are wrong.

I set myself up a workshop in September last year in Ipswich, Suffolk, UK and have invested in a great machine- Durkopp Adler1767, with two more coming (Juki cylinder arm and a Brotjer embroidery machine) in the next month.

I've been on a training course and loved it, and now spend everyday learning and most days see little improvement of my skills. I'm awed by the skills that you all have, and aspire to produce quality upholstery.

Unfortunately I don't have anyone to guide me, so I'm taking my time, making mistakes, redoing and moving on. I hope this doesn't bar me from being on here, and I'm thrilled to be allowed to participate here. Big Thanks! My website is being worked on, and I'm working on content for it.
