I had a "52 Dodge Coronet come into my shop completely stripped of top, pads, tack strips, etc.. The customer purchased his own parts. I have installed thousands of tops so most of the job is self explanatory but, I'm hoping someone remembers if the front windlace attatches to the front bow horizontally to the bottom side of the bow or vertically to the front bow tackstrip where the wire-on installs? If it installs under the front bow, there is no retaining or tack strip to hold it in place. Any imput would be appreciated. Thanks, Al

The front edge of that top is glued to the underside of the header bow. Finished with wire-on after all adjustments have been made.

Thank you, I understand that. What I'm wondering about is the placement of the windlace.

If you are referring to the 1/2 inch wind seal, I believe that it was not used on that model. There should be a heavy rubber seal across the top of the windshield that keeps the weather out.

Thank you, They stripped everything off, powdercoated and painted so I have nothing to refer to.
