    Hi all,
I am looking for a suitable adhesive film with flammability properties that you can apply using heat (heat press/iron etc)

Something durable that will show no 'floating' off of the main surface fabric over time.

Not bought from Amazon or eBay.

Thankyou, I look forward to your replies

You want a hot melt adhesive film. They come in in web or an actual film but the downside is you need a full scale laminator or a large hot press to make the bond. The process is also known as leather laminating and they use it for everything in a oem factory to increase the weight of the materials by bonding to scrim foam, doorpanels, headliners, dashes, etc. The process used on seats will make them last way longer!

Spencer is correct but most Major US OEMs choose suppliers based on cost so sometime lamination isn’t done and it shows fast

sounds like you would be better off with a water based heat activated glue
