9Okay everyone I searched before posting. I think this is a good question everyone can benefit from
On that note what is everyone’s favorite cleaners for different materials. I’m sure we all have customers ask what to use to clean their new upholstery. Most sample cards say mild detergent and water but I want professional opinions that have used something for years and never seen discoloration or any of the sorts. Thanks in advance! -

For vinyl, I regularly use Spray Nine. It works miracles, I've even been able to remove fresh pen marks on white vinyl. -

1For just general cleaning and for removing marks from space pens, china marker, and chalk I use Chemical Guys Nonsense cleaner. https://www.chemicalguys.com/nonsense-all-purpose-cleaner/nonsense-cleaner.html I really like it and haven't had any adverse effects from it so far. To remove glue and other difficult things I use Malco Cosmoline Remover. 9My shop does more marine applications then anything. I’ve always used mean green for a general vinyl cleaner. Goo Gone for little adhesive removing plus clean afterwards. Every now and again I’ll use WD40 for harder to remove stains. Old trick from another upholsterer.
I was just interested in others experiences or advice for cleaners. -

9Simple Green diluted about 2 ounces to a quart of water is a pretty safe cleaner for most anything inside of a vehicle.
