39Wondering how others handle this. I have an older helper, she’s constantly needs to go to the bathroom, often in the way and 9 times out of 10 just sleeping. But I can’t get rid of her. So, I got a younger more energetic employee. He’s a bit to high strung, usually just runs around in circles, doesn’t get much done and then wears himself out and also, sleeping. Leaving me to pick up both of their slack.Yet again I can’t get rid of him either. Both have their good points though. I caught them both napping already this morning and snapped a quick pic. One even went up to the kids bed to sleep. Both are good company and I wouldn’t change it for the world. How many others have shop dogs?

2Ol Bud, my 15 year of Golden, has many job descriptions around The Seat Shop. First and foremost as a greeter for anyone who comes through the door. He also is very good at taking a long nap in the center of the floor making everyone stop over him quietly making sure not to disturb him. His favorite time of day is Lunch, as he goes to everyone's desk with the most pitiful look on his face trying to get anything he possibly can. And finally, he will wait at the dock door for FedEx to come pick up all of our packages.

Yeah I’m pretty sure if the UPS guy doesn’t watch out my pitbull is gonna follow him into his truck one day and tag along for the ride. For some reason he loves that guy. -

On the plus side: Works for food and belly rubs, has excellent customer relations skills.
Downsides: can't operate a sewing machine, caught sleeping under the bench numerous times. -

43My employee gets too much attention. UPS guy always brings her treats, the ladies at the bank down the street come by almost daily to pet her when they go on their walk. Customers spoil her with toys and treats, many times they stop by just to see her. I have also caught her sleeping on the job! But she is a good model and helps with deliveries.

39that’s great! Ever have skin allergy issues? Looks to be a pit, I’m forever trying to keep his belly skin in check, and it’s never perfect, it’s just some days are better than others.

39hahaha at least they stayed. If I left for 30 min my daughter wouldn’t even be in the shop anymore.
