Source for carpet snaps?

    Hi folks. I need to track down some fasteners which I believe are broadly referred to as "carpet snaps." On the top side they show just a thin rim of approximately 1" in diameter, and then there is a pressed on piece on the underside which connects to a conventional snap (shown in this photo toward the bottom left.) While I have been able to find some of these, all have had the top ring in black, and I need it in chrome or stainless steel. Would love any recommendations you might have as to a vendor that carries these. Thanks in advance.

    If they are what I'm thinking of they're called Veltex carpet snaps. Spaenaur sells them here in Canada, I believe they sell to the USA as well.

    Hi folks. Thanks for all the replies. I had found them at Moss Motors and others actually, but they only had them with the top ring being in black and I need them in chrome. However, good news! I learned that Veteran Company in LA sells them. Ordered a pack of 100 on Friday and they arrived today. Great customer service from those guys, as always.

    damn it... I was offline for a while. I could have sent you some. I always have them in stock. (But, they are not chrome plated but nickel plated.) Then you wouldn't have had to take 100. I also like to barter for black ones if you like. You can contact me if you are interested. Otherwise here is also the link to the company where I order. However, I do not know whether they send to the USA.
