Adhesive for bonding vinlys to ABS surfaces

Happy New Year to one and all; It is with great hope that 2019 bring much more prosperity to your businesses.

I was would like to know should any one care to share info on the best adhesive used for bonding Automotive and Marine Vinlys to ABS surfaces; I have tried DAP Adhesive but for some reason it does not hold; or is there something am not doing right.

Any advce or insight will be greatly appreciative..Thanks
