Don't know much about adler but I'm sure the feet are cheaper and more plentiful for a juki.

When I got my my Juki 1508 I was very happy with it . I trade my machines every 2-3 years because I get a good tade in. Last year year got an Adler 867. Very impressed with the machine. Never needs oil as it is self contained like a car, huge bobbin case, Stitch length adjustment is unreal, also has stroke adjustment with the turn of a wheel so going over thick seams you just walk right over and never hurt your material. Pricey though.

Why don't you hit up @Mal Maher at NC Carpet Binding & Equipment? He knows everything about all brands of sewing machines and is a super nice guy to talk to. He'll tell you straight up the pros and cons, and might even turn you onto some brands you weren't considering.

Juki parts are more readily available and easy to obtain. Juki 1508 class is a tremendous unit. If we can help in anyway, don't hesitate to contact us. Juki 1508N price $2450 complete with a fully assembled servo motor workstation. Adler's are tremendous, but we don't resell them. You should contact DAP directly. Hope it all works out for you. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to all.
