Just wondering if using ply-grip would be a viable option to use for headliner installation, just run it over the windlace and tack it to the wood of the older cars, pros and cons your thoughts?
This headliner was custom made for this 1950 Cadillac. I used ply-grip just above the windlace and it turned out just like the original would have.
One thing to note- ply-grip works the best when the headliner material is light weight like the foam backed or brushed cotton. Vinyl material would have to be less than 20 oz. to be held in place without stressing the ply-grip.
