insole board

I have spent several joy filled hour watching Cechaflo do his magic. I have been searching the web looking for shoe insole board to accomplish those crisp edges on panel work. Barring the purchase of 5000 pieces from China I am having no luck. I have been using closed cell foam for years but I would like to find something firmer but still malleable. Does anybody have a source for this material in small batches in the US, or any other comparable material? Thanks

No idea but interested. On another note does the closed cell foam become difficult to stretch over, does it curl?

Can you post a link to his video showing this? I went to search for it but when down a cechaflo worm hole of videos and wasted a few hours but never saw it. Lol

He notes the materials he is using @ 35 seconds in. The materials referenced are "Celtec" made in Mexico, and " Bartoli" made in Italy. I can't find this stuff through web searches. I even went to my local shoe repair guy and he looked at me like I had two heads. :joke:

Have you tried GK Shoe Supply in NY? You have probably already checked with them

No luck @ GK. I think I found a supplier that will ship 50 pieces from China. Nobody makes shoes in the states anymore. I will let you all know.

usually landeau foam is just used. you get the same effect and is readily available.
