We never really got into leather kits. We have a customer that’s interested in getting them put on a Jeep. I figured it could take 4-5 hours to do. How do you price them? Do you just charge say a flat rate on what it could take? What about markup on the kits what percentage do you mark them up from cost? I have looked at Alea and katzkins any specific brand you like more for fit and quality?

We use Katzkin brand at the shop I am at. They are wonderful if installed properly.

In my experience, both Katzkin and Alea are great quality. But like @Diana Unger said, it all depends on proper installation.

In regards to design, I find that Alea provides more options (inserts, patterns, stitches, even glowing LEDs) to make a manufactured seat cover appear customized.

Roadwire also has great products. I charge a flat rate of $1300 plus tax for most 2 row vehicles

We have recently started using Alea leather kits in the past 5-6 months with great results. Fit and finish is nice and they turn out well with a little finessing

We use both Alea & Katzkin. Some vehicles Alea fits better, some vehicles Katzkin fits better. Alea offers custom kits that Katzkin will never offer, 2 rows we start at $1099, 3 rows start at $1295
