We are looking for black Waterproof Panelboard. Merit used to carry it, but no longer available from them. We can find the tan, but it does not bend as easily as the black. Does anyone know of another supplier?? The come in 35 x 69 sheets.

Have you ever tried using foamed PVC sheets? You can get them in 2mm, 3mm, 5mm.. my favorite brand is Palight. It bends nicely, machines easily and holds a staple. Comes in 4x8 sheets and cheaper than the panelboard. I get it at Grimco, but all the sign supply places have it

Nice work brother I’ve been thinking about using this product. I’ve used abs for years but they changed the chemical composition and you can no longer staple into it without it cracking

Just a side note about the abs cracking. I've had a batch do this too and found that just a little warming up with the heat gun changes that. Don't have to melt it, just warm it up.

Good morning Tyler I have a question for you. I used a PVC product from three. Rivers pulled the material around and stapled it, and it seemed to crack in the corners is the palight a different product than what three rivers sells.

I get most of my staples from Amazon with success. I have bought hog rings from Rushin. The ones they have seem easier to use because of the shape. Also American Upholstery in Tulsa, OK. has black or tan/blond waterproof panel board in 2 sizes.

There does seem to be a difference in the material from one brand to the next. I bought a different brand one time and it seemed more brittle than the Palight. I also usually use mostly glue to wrap panels that are only PVC. If I need something heavier like door panels I use Luan plywood for the structure. You can use the PVC for designs on top of the luan. Hope this helps. Cheers

Thank you very much for your reply. So nice to have people to discuss the work with my best buddy died a few years back quite a bit older than me and we used to talk about the work all the time. Best regards, John
