    Has any of you exspored putting jell pad on motorcycle seats?

    i remove more than i fit !!!!!!!!!!!!! might be comfy but after time they brake up and as the density is different to the rest of the foam it ends up showing through the cover even with a scrim topper

    I've done a couple and ended up having to strip em again at the end of season cause the owners complained about how hot they get. I've seen some factory ones where the gel was molded into the bottom of the cushion. Not sure if that makes much difference or not

    Bike seats are all about shape. Padding has very little to add to the equation except to compliment shape. I use the analogy of a horse saddle; not well padded but shaped for long rides. We do many seat mods without gel or “memory foam” (its ALL memory foam after all) and have a 99.9% customer satisfaction on mods and 100% on new seats.
