Hi everyone,
Has anyone actually bought this Ezmatch Swatch Scanner. I’ve known about it for awhile now but it sounds better then I perceive it to be. I’m looking for actual reviews if someone decided to give it a try, out of curiosity. I’m interested in how accurate it may be. I do a lot of marine upholstery so matching to an aged white I feel could be a problem if it’s actually accurate. It wouldn’t actually match the original vinyl but the aged vinyl.
I have many more questions just want to know if anyone here has tried it. I’m also aware DLT was bought buy Keyston bro’s.
I've had it for a few years now, and it's pretty accurate. They give you a star rating on how close the matches are going to be with the color you scanned. The only problem I've had is that they don't always have something close enough to use but the scanner does its job though!
We have one and dont use it, majority of the time, the vinyl picked is some offbrand stuff that I cant seem to put my name on. Our eyes have been good for the last 11 years being in business, we'll continue that way.. I was hoping that scanner would have more options
Thanks for the feed back everyone. It is a great thought and it seems I’ll just stick to matching by eye. Hopefully this helps someone else with their decision too
Sorry for the delayed response, but lines have been continuously updated. Most all of the name brand vinyls are in there - Spradling, Naugahyde, Keyston Proprietary, and several others.
All of the DLT good lines have been rolled into it, and the dropped ones are no longer part of it.
If you ever have a question on it, you can email me directly at akahn at Keystonbros.com
