Im unsure if im pricing properly, at the end of the day i dont want to short myself, but dont eant to scare customers either. So i mostly do interjor repair from plastic repairs, vinyl and leather reoairs, premium coloring ect. But i also do some upholstery with vinyls and leathers and Alcantara. I price by the job and my pricing of course includes supplies and generically it includes using vinyl. But when i am using a leather or Alcantara instead of vinyl, i mark up the job only enough to break even on the material. Should i be adding a percentage to the leather or Alcantara as use that price in my job estimate? Question 2. What is fair pricing for a headliner already removed from vehicle when broight to me? Using normal headliner material? Iv been charging $100 for a 2 door truck, $175 for small car or extended cab truck, $200 for full sized sedans, 4 door truck, suvs. Thats already removed and brought to me. And lastly for jobs that require me to remove and install interior parts. Whats a fair hourly rate?
Thank you for the reply. Seems like i was about right on pricing. What about hourly rates? If injeed to charge a certain amount of hours whats a fair rate?
Really depends on Year, Make, Model, Materials being used and whether you're installing/removing or its dropped off and picked up--- Plus Area/ # of shops in said Area. I'd prefer dropped off for cheaper customers that way I'm not liable for unforeseen issues with removal/ install. With that said....
150 + Materials x 2.... Reg Cab American Truck
250 + " ".... Crew Cab American Truck
300 + " ''.... American Sedan
Sunroof shade charge extra 50/75
These are all base prices for an idea, Didn't include variables
European I charge extra just because of the adhesive used/time for removal
