I just had a guy drop off some cj5 seats. He had already ordered New covers. This was just supposed to be a quick install the new covers job. I quickly saw that the metal brackets inside the seat foam that attach to the seat risers are rusted out. Tried a quick search. I can’t find any seat buns. Does any one have a source for these or should I just plan on making them myself? Thanks.

Now that I dug into it a bit deeper, I see that the seat is one whole piece with the metal embedded. The whole thing is rotten. I'm guessing the best thing to do is to just let him buy a ready made seat/cover as they appear to be all in one? Or find a seat frame and bun from another vehicle and adapt it to fit the leather covers he bought from lseat.com
