I need to make a new rain gutter, as part of a top replacement, on an '06 Toyota Solara, using some of the original pieces. It's a pretty simple and straightforward job. It's simple and easy, until you get to the issue of how to deal with the sealer they use at the pinchweld area. It never really sets up and remains almost liquid forever. It gets on many of the pieces that have to be re-used, and is really, to me, the most difficult part of the job. Does anyone have a way to deal with this ?
