I’m making a quick sample for a customer wanting his 57 Chevy completely redone. He showed me another 57 Chevy online and said he likes that pattern. I don’t want to copy it 100% cause I don’t think that’s right. So I’m making this sample for him to visualize how it can be close with minor changes and some flair. One thing I like about the seats he showed me pattern in the bright either left or right side. The original was just a flat piece with the design stitched in. I liked the idea of doing 2 pieces and adding the accent stitch. But you can see at the corner it puckers. This area on the seat won’t have much stretch to it to pull it out. What would be the reasoning for this?

Hey Cody try putting a cut in your salvage edge in that corner, maybe even a few leading to it and after. I have had to do that before on tight turns and corners.
