I know most car manuals say to stay out of them, especially the brush type. My sister would rather just go through and avoid all warnings. (Non brush type) The question is that she’s wondering. Can she get the full wash with the liquid wax. I told her no as it’ll fill the material fibers in and be gross. But other than that, idk if I can give her a more scientific answer than that. What do you all recommend?

The soap will leave residue and the hot wax will seal it in. Eventually the top will look dirty and become unclean-able.
Hear is an image of a corvette top that was serviced by an automatic car wash. Show her this so she can see what her top will look like in two years.n62y9lp8r2r8divn.jpg

@Cody Lunning Thank you. She should get the most out of the top. After all, I did write the book on the subject.
