Hi Guys,
While working on some parts for a boat I developed a method of stapling the corners so they lay down smooth and look cleaner.
This may not be a big revelation to most of you guys but I think it looks better then the way they generally tuck the corners at this particular shop.
Thanks Eric.
I pride myself on my work but don't do any sewing, that's the owners responsibility.
I do all the dirty work, convertible tops and headliners but the reassembly is the most fun to me.
Here's few of the projects I've nailed together.
The Model T was a kit (no sewing) but I had to do the burlap, the foam, the seat covers and the top.
I had to remake most of the wood for the Formula Boat and the blue carpeting was a free lance job for a friend which required all new plywood for the floor and seats.
