    Hi everyone;
    I trust all are well and busuness are going great for you all. recently I have been noticing quite a few of the newer cars have been using some bright color top stitch threads, not the usual red or white etc; but acqua blue and green.

    Can any one point me in the direction where to buy nice quality top stitch, auto upholestry threads.

    Thanks.

    The OTC nylon contrast thread works well. Just do not use it on motorcycle, boat, or even convertible seats. It fades real fast. For a better color selection in the smaller/ normal size thread you would tend to look at the Sunguard poly which will also fade. I have had so many issues with the Sunguard poly leaching color and staining clothing, I will be switching to Amann thread.

    I have heard many good things about Amann right here on THR. Most of that discussion was on the old forum and is no longer accessible.
    Maybe others can expand on Amann's quality and color selection

    Amann it the thread of choice for many large OEM's. It is available in a wide range of sizes.

    We also use Amann Serafil for seats. and Amann Serabraid for steeringwheels and other hand-sewn seams.
