    that sure is a whole lot of stuff crammed into a small space , im in a double garage at the moment also but can only use one half , my issue and reason im looking at a workshop is no where to park a clients car/boat inside if required

    Hi Garrett , its a good question an i myself am in the same but slightly different position of doing my trade some 20 years ago and after 15 years in security cctv sales Ive started back up from home and hoping to get into a workshop and be able to quit my day job in 6 months , so even being a tradesman im still re learning a lot of old stuff and new as well , so looking forward also to any replies here , ill go and read Freds post to start

    quickbooks works well especially the online version means you can log in anywhere and do a quote or invoice without needing to be at your shop, ive used it both for my security installation business and now getting back to upholstery as well , what id like to know is there any program that allows you to put your fabric dimensions in and let you drop and drag to get the best use of the material

    quick books here to , just the online version so i can access it anywhere , just getting back into upholstery after a number of years but have also used this software in my security business for cctv and alarm installs and it worked well
