I spray the Landau at 50psi. I have used the Super 90, but it seems to let go when the cab temps in summer may reach 130+ degrees. I shipped a cargo trailer that had the S90 for holding the carpet, which was used on floor, side and top. When the customer got it, the carpet was all on the floor.

I went (almost) with customers Maverick with SMS.. At least a year for seat covers and wanted a deposit. Went with a pleated design and only took a week to sew up and install.

I get most of my staples from Amazon with success. I have bought hog rings from Rushin. The ones they have seem easier to use because of the shape. Also American Upholstery in Tulsa, OK. has black or tan/blond waterproof panel board in 2 sizes.

That is kind of hard to say. On upholstery projects I hopefully I never see again. I have used it mostly for attaching velcro to hold the seat bottoms and backrest centers in place. It is waterproof. I suspect that on magnets to any hard surface should work well. For a test, I glued to bricks together and let them set over night. It took a hammer to break apart. The bricks failed before the glue joint.

Gorilla heavy duty construction cement. Can be purchased by the squeeze tube or in large tubes that need a a caulking gun.

Looks like it would be a good tool to have. I would like to see more about it as how heavy vinyl it accepts and the width of the material.

Thanks for the warning, Justin. I did have some of the lesser quality vinyl shed what I would call a clear type coating. Since then I do a test on matching scrap .

I try to always test the silver ink pens on the vinyl before using it. I also use chalk with the marking wheel that I stole from my wife. It works fine but have to be careful not to wipe it off while sewing.

The round cylinders are about 15 pounds. The two pieces of aluminum are about a pound. Nothing move when tracing.

Which Surebonder gun are you using?

I used Gorilla Construction Glue. It take about 24 hours to fully set up, but will hold just about anything.

I use the the silver pen most of the time, but careful about using it on some leathers. Cleans off fairly easy with a damp cloth with water and a little Dawn dish soap.
